I am a relative newcomer to video photography, my past interest being still photography and desktop publishing. Today, the video editing tool of choice is CyberLink’s award-winning PowerDirector v7 Ultra, with its stellar ease-of-use, comprehensive feature set, and access links to extensive multimedia resources.

My professional experience is in the IT field for the past twenty years, with various roles in customer relations, as a systems analyst, technical writer, trainer and program developer. Additionally, I was a news reporter, photographer, policeman, newsletter contributor, and a magazine editor. I have worked in a California direct mail marketing firm, a Japanese shipping company, an Irish OEM manufacturer, a U.S. bank, at various publishing interests in the Far East , and as an independent IT consultant for the Univ. of CA , Office of the President.

I have a passion for the arts, including literature, poetry, philosophy, film, photography, music and dance. But I am equally comfortable discussing computer technology, video and audio innovation, software applications that educate, solve problems and bring excitement to the home user. This is a particular reason why I am now with Taiwan-based CyberLink, representing their fun products, helping garner greater interest in the North American consumer market, reaching out to the media and various PC user group communities across the land.
